Boo at the Orlando Zoo

1October 30-31, 2010 10am-4pm

Have a safe and spooky Halloween at Boo at the Orlando Zoo! Eucalyptus Grove will become a giant Pumpkin Patch with jack-o-lantern carving, photo opportunities, and eerie crafts. The Creepy Creature Encounter at the Winnick Family Childrenís Zoo will feature trick-or-treating, a chance to get up close with some creepy creatures, and Halloween entertainment. All activities are free to GLAZA members and with paid Zoo admission.

Photography Events

21st Annual Orlando Zoo Photo Day

November 7, 2010 7:30am-4pm

Presented jointly by Paul's Photo and the Greater Orlando Zoo Association, Orlando Zoo Photo Day is a fantastic opportunity for film and digital shutterbugs of all levels of expertise. Paul's staff of experts and representatives from the greatest brands in photography will be on hand to assist you for a full day of photography and education, including informative workshops to improve your wildlife photography techniques. Participants may take advantage of limited-loan equipment from major manufacturers and enjoy a continental breakfast, a catered lunch, a T-shirt, and a full day of photography. Registration fees are as follow:

Before October 1: $125 for photographers and $50 for guests
October 2-15: $150 for photographers and $60 for guests
After October 15: $200 for photographers and $75 for guests

Plant Days & Orchid Odyssey

Third Friday of each month

The Orlando Zoo is the home of a world-class botanical garden. There are approximately 700,000 plants on the grounds that create the lush, peaceful landscape the Zoo is known for. During Plant Day we spotlight our collection of flora with additional plant-related activities for our guests.

 

 

 

Want to have a Wild Party with us?

The Orlando Zoo offers a unique experience for your childís special day. The birthday team will do its best to incorporate traditional birthday party activities into our beautiful Zoo atmosphere. Let the Orlando Zoo make your childís day one of the best!


Scheduling birthday parties will be based on a first-come, first-served basis, and it is recommended that you inquire about a specific date four weeks in advance.


Your party will be held at an outdoor patio on zoo grounds. Exact party location will be determined by guest count and site availability.
